dilation daily for life?

Is it possible to have to dilate daily for life? Reason I ask is because I've been dilating for 3 years and if I do it even as frequent as every week there a little blood afterwords but not if I do it daily.

I suppose. If weekly dilations cause bleeding, you need more frequent dilations. The reason? You want to dilate to maintain the opening, not tear the tissue to create a new dilation. Tearing will just cause more scarring and make things more difficult.

Some people just have more stubborn strictures.
