Seems to be contradictory opinions on this, so hopefully I can get a consensus on the following question:

In most cases, do digestive enzymes help reduce gas and gas pain/cramps? If so, what brand do you recommend? (btw, I have tried Gas-X to no avail and Beano to little).

If I'm going to having a gas-producing meal, I'll take a digestive enzyme with my first bite of food. Whole Foods makes one called Wholezyme which I've used; now I'm using Source Naturals Daily Essential Enzymes.

They seem to help - usually. Beano doesn't do much for me, either. Hope you find relief.
