hello jaypea,

ive had a history of gerd and was treated for years with either nexium, prevacid, omeoprazole, and after years of having beeing told to stop one of those drugs (and having had acute kidney failure/renal injury) in june 2019, the hospital dr took me off nexium, so was last on it in my late 30;s

in october of 23 of was prescribed pantoprazole by the attending physician of my care following hospitalization after delayed rectal bleeding from endoscopic mucosal resection (endoscopy) the ulcers were diagnosed in october 2023 and treatment started on pantoprazole

no, i dont believe my gi tested for hpylori. i have gastroesophogal reflux and i know gatorades contain lots of citric acid etc

hopefully pedialyte doesnt have alot of sodium or id be diluting it with water

i will be doing miralax and  2 fleet enemas because i get endoscopic mucosal resections within upper and lower endoscopy. i have familial polyposis so its not a simple'look see and finished pouchoscopy' the dr removes alot of polyps and im under for over an hour/sedated

they sell pedialyte at the 1.25 store too

i usppose the range zero sugar gatorade is just as acidic as the lemon flavor zero sugar gatorade

ensure clear was advised but the nurse of my gi dismissed the fact i have type 2 diabetes. those ensure drinks even the cler version contain lots of carbs even though protein based and would make my sugars sky rocket while trying to stay hydrated before procedures and during prepping feb 28th for feb 29th 2pm start time scope, 1pm hospital arrival

thanks for your response!
