Day 3 after surgery, bowels are beginning to wake up, 3 walks in the hall today. It's hard to watch your child go through this, but it was hard to watch the pain of uc also. Tomorrow the tubes should be coming out and that should make her so much more comfortable. Cathy. God is good

Glad to her she is progressing well. What do you mean "tubes?"

Shes got a tube going down to her stomach that ones up the nose, a catheter for urine, and iv, and an epidural in her back, it's so hard to manipulate all these wires with all they have to do, and the pulling of them really scares her.

OMG! You have an amazing little trooper if she can walk with all of those apparatuses!
I am certain she will have a very speedy recovery!
