I have been taking Entyvio for about 2 years and before that Remicade for about 10. The pouch works very well but cufitis comes and goes. Even if the pouch is working, the end result is that when stool touches my anus it hurts and I have to go. The only Med that ever helped was Prednizone and that only helps a for short time now. Any suggestions?

Since you don’t list the things that haven’t worked, you’re likely to get suggestions of some of those things, and it will be hard to identify any that your doctor might have missed. For example, have you tried mesalamine suppositories (Canasa)?

Thanks for the suggestion. Yes, I have tried Canasa years ago. It gave flulike symptoms and made the cuff worse. Tried it again 2 years ago, same thing.
