ct what is i/2 lesser dosage of xifaxin.

hi thinking of trying xifaxin again in my rotation..it has failed me before.. at 2 pills times three a day ..what is considered the amount one takes when trying i/2 dosage like other antibiotics? or what is amount you take to keep symptoms of pouchitis in check?

Xifaxin comes in 550 mg tablets and I take 2 per day.

Make sure to check the pill strength. Xifaxan comes in 200 mg and 550 mg tablets. Most folks here seem to be using the 550 mg tabs twice a day.

Take 550 2 a day. After a course of Augmentum it started working again! I couldn't be happier!
