After my J-Pouch surgery I developed Type 2 diabetes. Whether the 2 were related, I don't know. I have diabetes in my family so probably not.

Anyway, my endocrinologist said my pancreas was not producing as much pancreatic exocrine enzymes as it should. I have started taking an enzyme replacement called Creon. Since starting I have also seen an improvement in my diarrhea.

Has anyone else taken this or developed pancreatic issues?

Yes I also have pancreatic insufficiency& fat malabsorption and take Creon. I also find that when I stick to vegan diet I am much better (I think its eliminating fat form dairy/eggs/meat). It is important to drink lots of water for them to work efficiently. I take approx 100,000 with main meals.
