could be many things given what you've said or what you've not said. but as to blockage I would say if you are passing stool its not a blockage, unless its only tiny drips and dribbles in which case you might have a partial blockage. but to my mind a blockage's hallmarks are bloating, no stool, no gas passing, waves of mounting pain with increasing bloat. the waves of pain are the peristalsis being stalled and fighting to get past the blockage. ultimately the pain will crest to the point where you feel vomiting might relieve the discomfort and sometimes that in and of itself does alleviate the blockage. but the pain will be so severe that you will likely name and seek the help of every known deity, in every language.
dewey what could it be?
john I think cramps can come from many things, from dehydration to food disquiet, to who knows what. I mean I don't know is it painful? is it altering your stool output. did you eat anything out of the ordinary? have you been hydrating aplenty? how's your sodium intake? cramps can be annoying but they aren't as worrisome as a blockage.
im hydrating fine has some peas the other day bm are water it is painful at times most just discomfort stomach is very tight
The best way to test the fish oil idea is to stop it and see if that helps over a day or three. Cramps are commonly gas, and sometimes a partial blockage. It *might* be a garden-variety GI bug, or less commonly something like C. diff. I get crampy pain when pouchitis is active.
now when i get a cramp i have small bm seems hard to get out also starts smooth then seems like it is to big is this blockage passing or is it pouchitis
