This could be an ordinary GI infection, most of which clear up by themselves. Pouchitis is also possible, I think.
Whether you decide to see your doctor or try to hold out, please stay hydrated. It can be hard to keep up with constant trips to the bathroom. If your urine is dark you're falling behind. If you're not peeing you need help (IV fluids) without delay.
Thank you Scott for your insight I really appreciate it .... Are there any other symptoms of pouchitis.... I do have some antibiotics that I didn't finish from a few weeks ago for a parianal abcess that drained on its own.. Should I finish them ?
Your abscess could be reforming if it healed over too soon. I'd resume the antibiotics.

Thank you Jan as always.... I did resume my antibiotics before bed last night and I will finish them out ... But other question is there a reason they occur Is it something that I'm eating ? ... Again thx for reaching out
Abscess formation has nothing to do with your diet. An imperfection in the surgically created seals, or an unfortunate reaction by your body to the surgery are much more likely causes.
Hi Sonnyj215,
i just wanted to make a quick comment about antibiotics...when you say that you have just started taking some, I assume you mean you have part of one course of antibiotics left that you now intend to retake? If that is the case, then you need to go back to your doctor and get a new course of antibiotics or enough tablets to make up a full course. Not finishing one course and then taking the few leftover tablets but not a full course will only build antibiotic resistance in your system, and won't work. In my opinion you should have finished the last course of antiobiotics whether you felt better or not, the fact that you didn't might be why the abcess is perhaps coming back. You need a proper full course of antiobiotics for them to do their job, I can't express how important that is. If I have got the wrong end of the stick, I apologise, and mean no offence. I hope you feel better.
