Cleveland Clinic Guest House closed

That's a good thing. That place was a DUMP. You can stay at downtown hotels for about 1/2 the price with free shuttles and cheap parking. Look online for the cheapest hotel via hotels.com or some site like that. And then call and ask for CC rates. They will be about 20% off the cheapest rate you find online.

Unfortunately my mom liked being "on campus." We are from a small town so Cleveland is a bit scary to her.

good point uc'er. We stayed there once, but even if it wasn't a dump, we could've never afforded to stay there again. It is unfortunate CC hasn't arranged a decent hotel with decent rates on campus.

A dump that was way overpriced!! Good riddance. Comfort in is 80 a night, free parking and shuttle to CC or healthline takes you there in 10min.

I am at the clinic now but going home tomorrow. Just had my J pouch takedown surgery and things are working well. My wife is staying at the Comfort Inn 10 minutes away in Independens for $55 per night (clinic rate) the only down side is no shuttle to clinic. We were paying $105 a night at the Courtyard but this place is just across the street from the Courtyard so we switched. It is older bt very clean and staff is great.
