Does anyone know if it's possible to do a celiac biopsy while performing a pouch scope? I had a negative blood test for gluten intolerance but I likely don't consume enough gluten for it to be a completely reliable test. Also, if it can be done during a scope, does one need to eat gluten containing foods in advance? (I put the question to my surgeon about a month ago and haven't received an answer. I have a scope scheduled for January). Thanks for any info you can share.
