Catheter without side holes

No, they all have side holes. The important thing is the tip to be smooth so it doesn't cut the valve. Use a catheter made for the Kock Pouch, which is usually the 30 Fr; 24 Fr would be smaller in diameter and harder to empty your pouch with....it would get clogged up more.

Someone on the site was using a naso-gastric tube I think or another type that was larger in diameter but had no side holes...they seemed to like it a lot...I will have to look it up for you.

Side holes suck sometimes, if I don't bend my catheter right sometimes it feels like it cuts my stoma.

I made one myself, and it works well. Thought to share with you here.

I used the other side of the catheter, and used the finest sandpaper (file) I can find to sad off te rough edge of it...

Ooooh naso-gastric tube Sharon.... memories I could do without there. lol

There is a book on amazon you can buy called "Tips and Tricks of the BCIR. Colitis Be gone". A guy wrote a small book on basically that. He talks about how he makes his own catheters.

I am good with mine, I boil mine and bend them the way I need and the holes are smoother as well.
