I can't answer your question, but ouch those holes are scrapey, aren't they.
Are you having much success with using the catheter otherwise? I have been trying and trying, but cannot get my pouch to empty through the catheter yet.
There are smaller catheters with only an end hole...I believe that they are used for naso-gastic usage...they are shorter, slightly wider and have 1 large end hole...it would probably be better for intubating a j pouch because of the size and facility of usage...they are made out of a silicon material that is very soft and not aggressive on your delicate parts. Oh, I forgot to mention, there is an anaesthetic gel sometimes used called Instillagel (a UK product). I have asked my doctor to prescribe me something similar.
Reading other people's suggestions and difficulties is helping me feel a little less alone, but catheterising is not an easy matter!
