Hi,
I'm wondering if any of you have problems digesting capsules?
I'm trying to get a more well rounded diet these days (1 1/2 years post take down), and have begun seeing a nutritionist. My diet prior to this, sadly, was still heavily reliant on a BRAT diet, which was the only thing I could tolerate with consistent reactions. As things have gotten better, I still struggle with veggies, and my nutritionist has suggested Vitamineral Green as a vegetable supplement. I can tolerate the powder, but the taste is pretty awful. I've tried blending it into juices and smoothies and still haven't found something that I know I won't mind doing day in and day out. I noticed today that they do make capsules. I want to give it a go, but I'm wondering if any of you have had problems digesting capsules? I'm also curious in the same regard for vitamins. A while back, I had a hard time with large vitamin pills, but I haven't given it a try in a long time.
On a side note for any of you still struggling to get better nutrition on your new diet, my go to for starting the day had been a bagel, cheese and egg carb bomb. The cheese was a a natural cheese and I used organic eggs, but a bagel every day? As much as I love them... ugggh. My nutritionist had me try Nature's Own Ezekiel english muffins. They are sprouted wheat with other nutritional goodness. I've been eating them for a few weeks, and they've slowed down my digestion, increased my energy, and honestly taste much more interesting than a bagel (which again, I love!!!). You just have to toast them to soften them up!
Btw, I edited this question tonight. Changed all references of capulets to capsules. I must have had Romeo and Juliet on the brain last night.
