I have eaten a lot of those with no problems. Swedish fish are my favorite! I have actually cut all bad sugar out from my diet because I want to lose a few pounds. I have a major sweet tooth! It's been two weeks and I feel better already.
Other than candies with artificial sweeteners there shouldn't be a problem. Unless your system has a problem with sugar. Try a small amount and see how it works for you.
I have a terrible sweet tooth too and I avoid chocolate. I love skittles, and when I have a small bag, it gives me cramps so looks like that is out too.
When ever it comes to any sweets and desserts I just need to decided how worth it it may be. And also how much sleep I am willing to miss that night. But I still eat any candy I want I'm just prepared for consequences.
I love Jelly Bellies and Good and Plenties and M & M peanut and......any good chocolate. No problem with any of those for me....except the added weight they bring on!
Ill eat a bag of sour patch kids in one sitting. No problems with candy. Im an addict. Life saver gummies i love as well. It may be an individual thing, so give it a try see what works if you havent already. Chocolate tends to not agree with me all that much.
I'm with Marianne, Swedish fish all the way...and tons of chocolate with or without nuts, raisins etc...and caramels but they sort of gum up the works a bit so I make my own with all natural ingredients. Couldn't live without it. Sharon
