camping/backpacking dealing with poops

Hi-- I'm planning a number of trips in the backcountry (starting in Yellowstone) where I can't leave any trace behind. Are there portable "toilets" or waste removal systems that people would recommend? I need something that would be easy to use while hiking with a group.

Just bring a small shovel or trowel with you. I used to work on a trail crew in the back country for 10 day straight periods of time and just dug a hole when nature called.

You could bring wipes & biogradable toilet paper. However, it’s rough & doesn’t roll off easy. Bring a dark plastic bag & carry out your trash.

Just skip the coffee in the morning You can do this. Others will be using the woods too.
