Hi, among other meds I take 9mg Budesonide daily. It's very expensive ($250/month even with insurance.) Talking with my doctor today he felt like I should buy it from Canada. Does anyone have experience buying pills overseas? I used to do it when I lived in Europe but I started to feel it was quite dodgy sometimes. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I buy rifaximin (xifaxan)from Canadian King Pharmacy. The price is alot less. You have to call them and get an order number first. The order number must be on the prescription that your doctor faxes them. They take credit cards, no problem. It sometimes takes 3 weeks to get the drug. Ther is a small shipping charge and it usually comes USPS. Sometimes it's from India, other times from cAnada. I did check with the pharmacist at CVS and she said the rifaximin is exaxtly the same as xifaxan, but there is no generic in the USA. Also my drug comes in bulk--100 pills or 200 pills. They do accept refills on the script.
Your dr sounds ok with ordering from Canada. My dr could not beleive the price difference in ordering from Canada.
