Has anyone tried Buspar for anxiety? All the anti depressants seem to cause me digestive issues, and then I end up on antibiotics. Remeron/Mirtzapine was good, but still caused digestive issues. I guess even the non SSRI's like Remeron or Trazadone have some effect on serotonin. Buspar apparently is a serotonin agonist, so I'm wondering if my sensitive insides will be affected. The doc gave me a prescription for 5mg twice a day. I guess I'll try it and see after this latest bout of pouchitis goes away. Wellbutrin has worked for me in the past with no digestive isssues, but it had me wired like I was on caffeine all day long.

i started on 5mg for a month now on 10mg. it does ok for my anxiety but not as good as the xanax i was on for like 10 years. I took as needed not always. but no doctor will even prescribe it any more cuz its addictive, so tired of this bullshit we have to deal with , no pain meds, no xanax. only thing i dont like is it makes my head feel dizzy for about an hour after taking it.
