Hello, Oepazmino.
After my reversal, the ostomy nurse in the hospital gave me a jar of Zincofax cream, the type used on babies' diaper rash. I didn't use it right away, choosing to use Calmoseptine because that's what everyone here used. Calmoseptine did work for a few weeks but soon I found it irritated my skin a little bit so I read the ingredients: it contains menthol, and while menthol helps to cool the burn, it could also irritate the raw skin. So I started to use the Zincofax. I could hardly believe it but it healed my skin within a few hours, and in a day or so no more burn. Are you using a bidet squirt bottle or have an attachment on your toilet to wash the area? Wiping with toilet paper on a new pouch area is really irritating. Your output will also cause the burning and no cream will help until the area is washed clean and perfectly dry every time before applying cream. Your pouch and the area is very young, be patient and careful. It will get better. Good luck to you.
