So a few months ago I asked if my symptoms could be a fistula and that gave me the courage to go again to be checked. I returned to see Bo Shen. The MRI and Barium Enema found nothing. But during the pouchoscopy he found it along the anastomsis line. He filled it and clamped it and told me to come back in 3 to 6 months. I am not happy about having a rv fistula. However after 8 months of symptoms and my surgeon not seeing it during an earlier scope I am just glad someone listened. I had reached a point where I was too ashamed to call her to tell her or to tell my gastro who works closely with her. This is my second time going to Bo Shen and once again he found what the others ignored or were not skilled enough to see.
