Bo Shen diet

having problems with pouch, I have ulceration at lower end of pouch and anal spasm from pain. I want to follow Bo Shen dietary advice - low carb/sugar, high protein etc. Nobody has posted about this for a while so hoping someone would have up to date advice. Live on the wrong side of the Atlantic so no chance of seeing him.

I'm not sure there is more to it than what you've said. Avoid refined sugars and refined carbs (processed foods & white breads).

I would also recommend adding kefir to your diet if you have not done so.

I was trying a vegan diet which in retrospect didn't suit me. I have thrown out the carbs and restocked! Interesting Inly a few weeks ago aquired kefir and I am making it with goats milk. Thanks
