I just had a blood test that showed all was within a normal range and now I will get a blood test every 6 months just to keep an eye on things it's like a car getting checked.

Could you tell us which blood test you are referring to and what the results indicate?
I am very curious to learn about this since I have issues two months post takedown.
this test could tell me if I just need more healing time or if something else is going on.
my surgeon and GI docs won’t do anything for me until I have a scoping in September

I just asked my GP for a blood test that checked liver ,kidney,cholesterol, diabetes,blood count, prostate and doctor checked blood pressure. Good to have checked regularly .
That’s great news that your body is functioning well. After each of my three surgeries all of my numbers were out of range and all kinds of specialists were called in. Thank god that over time my blood tests started to return to normal.

Good idea, thanks! Glad your well, might be a god idea too for them to check electrolytes too. My pediatric gastro did that along with Vitamin D 
After my first surgery they were worried about my liver and blood count so wouldn't let me go home for three weeks and then I had to have a blood test once a week for two months before things started improving.I also just drank homemade st mark's solution for two months.which was made of water,salt,baking soda and glucose.
