Seeing my GI next month & going to ask for a comprehensive blood test. Apart from Vitamins B12 & D what else is important to be tested for. I'm 57 & 8 months post takedown after UC.

I'd go for the whole panel, sugar, CBC, liver function, thyroid, white blood cells. And that's about all I can think of.

They do all that as standard just wondered if there's anything else, my veins are v poor & the artery is the only way to extract so I want to make sure its only done once a year.
