I am about four years past my J- pouch surgery for UC. I immediately had chronic pouchitis and remained on antibiotics ever since. Things have been pretty quiet since those rough days but this week I started having a little blood in my stool and now I have water stool and blood. What the heck could this be? Would love some perspectives of others in my situation.

It could just be a nasty virus. It could possibly be a C. Diff infection.
How long has it been going on?
About a week of very watery stool. I don't really have any pain but sometimes my stomach feels sour/gassy.
Do you usually use anything to bulk up the stool, like psyllium? In any case, you need to make sure to avoid dehydration. A week is long enough to begin to consider a medical evaluation.
