Does anyone feel so bloated after eating dinner? It seems the last few weeks after dinner, I've been feeling so uncomfortable and bloated. One night I even bled into the toilet, but only that one time. Next time - nothing. The bloatedness is every night. Thanks for your insight.

Could be for any medicines you might be taking
Nothing has changed but the way I feel.
Sometimes our bodies get bad at digesting food as we age. Also we're more likely to begin to suffer a lack of enzymes because of our gut reconstruction. I developed more food sensitivities as time passed after I got the j-pouch. I have tried digestive enzymes for as many things as I can find. Some have helped a lot!!
I always get bloated and so does my dad. The bleeding is not normal! I think you need a pouchoscopy.

I spoke with my doctor. She gave me a prescription for Cipro in case pouchitis is starting. I don't really feel like I need the meds yet, but I have it just in case.

I honestly think you should take it since your bleeding

You are probably right. Since I only bled once a few days ago, I just messaged my doctor to get her opinion, also. I HATE taking the meds but will, of course, if that's what I need.

I understand!!! Trust me, I really understand!!! But its better to take it instead of the problem getting worse.
