Hpyroli negative, TSH was 7.8 then had it rechecked next week and it was normal. They still put me on synthroid. I have tried protonix and glycopyrrolate for 2weeks, still no changes. Still feel bloated and full in stomach all the time. I don't know what else to do !?

Glad some things are normal. I am sorry you still have that, hope things get better. Does the bloating hurt???

So the ct scan showed wall thickening of the pouch suggesting pouchitis,  but it doesn't feel like pouchitis no diarrhea, no urgency, no blood, no leakage. But i do feel my like my GI track slow down, i used to take lomotil 5mg 3x day, now im down to 2.5mg 2xday. And have about the same number of BM. What the heck is wrong with me

Definitely pouchitis, I definitely suggest antibiotics.

@Simonw What does your GI think? You could have pouchitis, but the symptoms are unusual for that. I’m wondering why you’re still taking any Lomotil at all - do you have *any* symptoms at this point that Lomotil is intended to treat?

Antibiotics often thicken the stool. I’d be surprised if they fixed up your bloated/full feeling, but surprising things happen all the time. I’d try stopping the Lomotil, first, just to see how your baseline functioning is right now.

Ive reached out to my old Gi i had after the surgery,  going to see him in 2 weeks. My current GI keeps asking me ,if it feels like a flare up. I say no because i have no diarrhea or bloddy stool. But i do have some discomfort in pouch area if that makes any sense.

As to lomotil i dont know, just got used to talking it for so long, tried stopping it few years ago but it didn't go well. I try stopping it nowand see what happens.

I just dont know what to think of it anymore. Whats making me feel like this. Did i get crohn's and it took over my whole GI.or Any other problem

Try tapering down from lomotil. Over time your need can lessen as your gut adapts to pouch life. Antibiotics definitely slow and thicken. A suggestion of pouchitis on imaging is not definitely pouchitis, just a maybe. Hopefully you will get more enlightenment when yousee your old GI.

When I was on antibiotics I had to cut way down on my loperamide because of the stool thickening.

Was your pouch normal in size on the scan? I don't wish to sound alarming, but I am asking because bloating and a feeling of fullness in my lower throat were the signs I got with megapouch. (Pouch becomes distended because the bowel used to construct it loses muscle tone.)

I felt as though things were backed up to my tonsils – obviously that wasn't the case, but that's how it felt.

But megapouch is very rare, less than 1% incidence.
