I am really scared, I have diarrhea and bleeding significantly from below.
I have my frequency reasonably under control with loperamide, psyllium fibers and Questran and now this happens
First time this happens.
anyone have had this as well?

Call your surgeon immediately!
They are responsible for your post surgical care for a period of time. He/she should be your first call.
I also had some bleeding in the first few weeks post takedown. In my case..my surgeon said it was normal as long as it went away and not in every BM. Everyone is different and would agree to contact your surgeon
Definitely call the surgeon. Hopefully there's an explanation that isn't too scary. Slowing things down too much can result in straining and mechanical issues that can cause bleeding. That still happens to me periodically. Usually limited to a day and always a shock. But in your case, so soon after surgery, you want to have the surgeon evaluate you to rule out more serious concerns. Good luck. Let us know how it goes.
Had contact with the nurse and have call scheduled with the surgeon this friday.
The bleeding stopped now and apparently they had no alarm bells going off.
This pouch thing is really something…
My bleeding is almost always the result of straining. Is your stool soft or formed?
I’m suprised the surgeon does not want to see you in personal for an evaluation.
‘bleeding significantly below’ really set off my alarm bells.

For me it would come and go with no real reason… it wasn’t from straining or any particular type of food. It really freaked me out when it happened but it ended quickly….you definitely want your doctor to know when these things happen. You just went through a traumatic surgery and the body is still recovering. You will feel better after your consultation. Your in the right place as this group has been there..
@New577 with bleeding significantly I ment, you can see it is blood. Not a huge quantity. I am not native speaker and might used wrong wording there
seems like it was a one time thing that came together with a diarrhea event. Feeling better again and the stress came a bit down.
Bleeding can also occur when the bowel is exposed to shocks (from jumping around) or intense twisting of the body (in my case occasionally after nordic walking). But usually only once after such a situation. If it happens too often, you should visit your Dr.
Bright red blood can also be from hemorrhoids. Obviously our attention is (and should be) on recent surgery, but hemorrhoids can bleed at any time. Learning a new way to poop can cause misapplied pressure/straining, which could exacerbate hemorrhoids.
