Saw Dr. Shen at Cleveland Clinic and he recommended biofeedback therapy for my 10-year old J-Pouch that is having problems emptying. Has anyone had this therapy for a similar diagnosis and if so what it successful?
I'm doing biofeedback and pelvic floor therapy now, and have been going every week since October. I think it's working, if nothing else, I know more about how those muscles work and how to breathe properly to move the bowel. Fortunately, my insurance covers it.
not used it for pouch, but have been on qxci machine twice before and was very impressed. The insight it have me was incredible. I'd say definitely worth trying.
