Hi Everyone, have had Jpouch for 24 years, first 20 years trouble free then starting getting small bowel obstructions, adhesions, 6 so far, very painful, some have resolved by themselves. Also had impactation and surgeon gave me Movocol and Colaxsen with senna til clear

My question now is if I feel thats happening again should I take Movocol and Colaxsen til clear or start Benefibre. My GP wanted me to take Movovol alone every other day as she said anything left in the intestine can cause a blockage, but the surgeon said no. I did try it frequently but much too strong causing liquid diarrohea.

Would appreciate any advice, Metamucil gave me stomach ache.
