Hi, now i have been 6 weeks post my takedown surgery. In those 6 weeks I have hospital four times for blockages but now should be fine.
However, I am getting really bad cramps like worse everyday since my last time out of hospital (A week ago). I am afraid another blockage might be coming by which I wouldn’t like to happen.
any idea why all these bad cramps.. and how long they last and if there is something to help against them?

Wow- 4 blockages- you’re a trooper! From my experience with blockages and from reading on here, this is what they suggest- lots of fluids, walk and try to get the gas out, beano or gas-ex, heating pad.
Hope some of that helps. Given your history, you may want to give your doc a call. It could just be you’ve got a kink in your small intestine and the loop keeps kinking in the same spot.
Each person is different. You may have some internal scarring (adhesions) that causing recurring symptoms. If these episodes keep sending you to the hospital, it may require surgery to release the adhesions. In the meantime, you’ve gotten good advice.
