The odd thing with me is that the symptoms I'm getting are so intermittent, and I think that is what is puzzling the GI. But the blood is obviously coming from somewhere; you can't have significant bleeding without a source. Hopefully the MRI will shed a little more light on what is going on, although right now I'm still waiting for the hospital to call me back with an appointment date. I really hate waiting.

The GI didn't mention it; he only said there were no ulcers in the pouch but certainly that doesn't rule out an ulcer higher up.
