Does anyone here use Augmentin alone for a pouchitis flare up? I've seen that some use it full time, but what about using Augmentin for pouchitis instead of Cipro or Cipro/Flagyl? I had a sinus infection and was prescribed Augmentin, and it seems to have kept my insides functioning well. I had pouchitis and was given the normal levaquin with flagyl, and then went right into a sinus infection. I'm wondering if I can just take augmentin next time I have pouchitis. I may just get a prescription for it and see what it does next time I have pouchitis.
