Ive had my pouch scoped in teh past when I had similar symptoms and the doctor said it was pretty mild or not very bad at all. It only burns a little some parts of the day, and its very dull and mild, not really an issue, just induces some worries. Anyone know if it's bad to just live with mild pouchitis because it doesn't cause too much frequency or inconvenience? Will it get worse? Or will it just remain in a mild state of pouchitis forever with no other ill effects? Could it cause increased cancer risks in parts of the body, due to constant inflammation? or is this not known?
Havent had luck with flagyl, within the first/second day I get pretty painful tongue sores and sores on the genitals!
