Have an old pouch which has caused problems for the past year. Not functioning well anymore and being removed mid Jan. Right now I'm on holiday and everything coming out is dark green. Not really eating much especially veggies etc. Could this be an infection? Never had this before except when eating food to trigger it. I stared Cipro last night but no change yet. Any suggestions and what could this be?

Many times!  30 year poucher here.  I think it's usually bile related.  I never know for sure.  Stay hydrated and use your judgement - if it dos not change within an amount of time YOU feel is ok, go to dr. or ER.  I usually wait it out and it passes eventually.  It still scares me a bit, but since it's happened off and on over the years and I'm still here, I don't freak out as much.  Sometimes, no matter how hard I try to figure out what caused it, I can't.  That's what drives me nuts about pouch - unlike many on these forums - my pouch reactions seem to have no rhyme or reason.  Avoiding this or that does not make much difference. Combining this and that food - not much difference. I hope it passes quickly - I've had it (I think) for as many as 5 days or so max and then it clears up.  When I was working, I would have to stay home on those days.  Please feel better soon!
