None that I know of either. I work out everyday. I don't do aerobics but I do the step machine, the elptical and the treadmill at the gym. I just started working on my abs with the machines there too. So far so good. They tell everyone to check with their doctor before starting an excersise program but I wonder how many people actually do that!
Jeane,
I just answered another post on the same subject....I will be the voice of caution here...all of my surgeries prior to 2007 (over a dzn abdominal and pouch related) went fine until I started training around 6-8 weeks post pouch revision surgery...a week later I got my first (have had 6 thus far) peri-stomal hernia...I was 46....each time they fixed it (major pouch surgeries each time) I pushed off the work outs and training sessions by a month 2 ( waited 6 months, 8, 1 yr) but I still ripped my abdomen open each time....so I finally took 2 yrs off and even then, I am still careful....I now understand that my body has changed, I am menopaused and that changes muscle and bone density and make things more fragile in there....so depending on your age and how you are healing now...give yourself a break a go back to it slowly.
Sharon
