For about 5 days now I’ve been having similar symptoms from August when I had the internal hernia and twisted bowel. When I lay down, the pain seems to subside but I cannot seem to stand up without generalized pain in my stomach.

i’m calling the doc today but am weary. The last time they would do scans and say nothing was wrong, and it took until the 3rd obstruction and hospitalization for them to do exploratory surgery. That’s how they found the problem. I mean what are the chances it could happen again? The doc said she tacked down the bowel so it shouldn’t? But the same symptoms? Gas and bloating. Yesterday I curbed back the immodium since I thought that was causing more problems. Any advice? Thoughts? I’m so tired of this…

If that's what it is.

Is nothing to wait on.

I've had one. The pain crippled me. So you may be dealing with something else. I don't know.

Get it checked. Immediately.
