I have had a history of pouchitis since takedown in March, 2012. I was prescribed Cipro and later, Entocort. The past two years, I've become severely anemic twice and had blood transfusions because my hemoglobin got down to 5. Also had an iron transfusion in 2012. This last time, which was December, 2013, I was prescribed Ferrous Gluconate(Iron pills) due to diagnosis of Iron Deficiency Anemia. My Vitamin D and Vitamin B-12 levels are also low. Does anyone know why this happens or had any experience with a similar situation? Now my hair is falling out and it's freaking me out. Has anyone ever heard of Black Currant Oil capsules? I've been researching to find out what I can take to help with the hair loss. It's supposed to be a very safe alternative but I'm afraid to take unless someone else can recommend it. Would like to hear from anyone who has had a similar situation with anemia and low vitamin levels.

I self medicated with peptides for absorption problems I ran GHRP6 200mcg 3x's a day left thigh right thigh then abdomen. It causes hunger which is good, itll for you to eat Smiler I now run impamorelin at 100-200mcg 3x's a day. can find them on www.pepbridge.com. Aslong as you arent exceeding 1000mcgs youll be fine. It causes your body to secrete its own growth hormone. I will catch flack as everyone wants a medical study done to back it up....however since on it i dont take anything at all other than the shots. You should honestly be a canidate for pharma grade GH which would be a lot better. Sides of peptides are, hunger pains, water retention, better sleep, more energy, and having to poke yourself 3 times a day. Make sure you pick up some Bacterial biostatic water for mixing as it has a longer shelf life than saline. good luck brother.
Lots of us seem to have some nutritional deficiencies. I suspect that absorption may be part of it, but perhaps a bigger factor could be that we tend to eat a bit strangely. We adjust our diets to manage our stool consistency, our bacterial balance, our transit time, our hydration, and goodness knows what else. What's left can be a bit strange.

Supplements seem to work a bit better when taken with food. It can take a while to resolve some of these. My vitamin D deficiency has been resolving slowly, on pretty significant doses. Remember to get rechecked periodically so you don't overshoot.
