I have been diagnosed with anemia and I do infusions every 3 months. My question is that most of the foods that have iron are hard for J-Pouchers to digest..so what do I do???
Seafood, red meat, pork, and poultry are all high-iron foods, and most of us digest those just fine. Iron supplements combined with Vitamin C tend to be better absorbed than plain iron supplements. Good luck!
I had an Endometrial ablation in 2013 that solved the heavy bleeding but I have seriously wicked cramps. In 2016 I had Uterine Fibroid Embolization which took my periods from light to even lighter but I am still have painful periods.
