Anal inflammation | The J-Pouch Group

Before my colectomy and J-pouch, I treated my anal inflammation with Salofalk suppositories (Mesalamine) with partial success.

Has anyone used this after their J-pouch for anal inflammation and fissures? If so, did you find any benefit? None of the antibiotics that I can use help this area and actually worsens it during pouchitis.

Unfortunately, Lauren, doing poorly. On yet another antibiotic, Augmentin. My lower left pinpoint sharp pain and overall cramping, incontinence, etc are excruciating. This has been worsening and more frequent over the last year. I am having a scope next week and will not leave until the surgeon gives me some other options.
