had takedown 3/2 getting little better each day have a fistula though that hurt when i go and just uncomfortable sitting walking etc dr gave me prescription cream been using doesn't seem to be working but not having as many bm last couple of days so maybe now it will work better since its staying on longer anyone have any other advice on getting rid of fistula

Are you certain this is a *fistula*? From what's been written it sounds like an anal *fissure*, which is a very different thing.
A fissure is basically a break in the skin. Anal fissures hurt like the devil, but they don't go anywhere. A fistula is a tunnel from one place to another (e.g. between the pouch and the bladder).

I simply took MANY sitz baths and once the output cleared up, Cipro.

You can keep a Sitz bath simple with warm water. Some folks add baking soda, but it's not really necessary. It gently cleanses the area and increases blood flow.
