Do you think we could have a conversation about adhesions? I always post a concern and rarely get more than 3 or 4 responses, so I get a little let down. But, I just wonder what can/should be done for adhesion pain? How many people in our group have/had an issue with scar tissue? How many people have problems like pain? None of the doctos that have cared for me, including Dr. Sonoda at Weill Cornell have been a propenent of lysising adhesions. But, we does one do when the adhesions cause pain. Not pain that is horrible, but more of a nusanace.
I am on Remicade for what my doctor's think is Crohn's. They only one who does not, is my GI doctor. He did the Promethius test which came back interminent. Non of the biopies pointed toward it. But, in Sept. I spend 19 days in the hospital, TPN, steroids... for a fistual, phlagman, and a micorperf of my pouch, and which healed itself. So, the docs treated my as though I have Crohn's.
Now, I'm trying to get ready to go back to teaching, but I have pain (not all the time), in my right side near my hip bone.
I would like to hear from people who may be able to share experiences or things they've read.....
Thanks,
Lisa
