Just out of hospital bowel obstruction specialist feels it’s caused by adhesions requiring laparoscopic surgery .i have had this surgery several years ago ,my question is has anyone had success with abdominal massage to break them up and do I need a specific type of practitioner who does this .thanks Sudie

Unfortunately scar tissue is tough and fibrous. Massage to break up adhesions would be extremely painful and potentially cause damage to the bowel itself if the practitioner was able to massage past the muscle wall to get to the adhesions themselves.
