Every once in awhile my muscles in thighs really ache. Its not from exercise or injury. Sometimes it hurts so bad it keeps me from sleeping. Really don't need anything else to hinder my sleep as my bowels do that enough.

Usually achy thighs in my experience means low potassium. You might want to get your potassium checked. I would say eat more potatoes and potassium supplements. Hopefully that will work!
Potassium drinks: Gatorade, Pedialyte, and Orange Juice
thanks!

You are welcome
I have that exact same pain you are talking about! It’s a difficult pain to describe, but I think you said it well. For me, it’s a dull ache that will move up and down my thighs to my ankles and knees. Sometimes it feels like a stabbing, sharp pain. I tried to describe this to my doctor, he told me it’s arthritis due to leaky gut. I don’t know if I agree with that. I feel like this intensifies when I’m having a really rough day, which lately is everyday. I hope yours improves very soon. LMK if there is anything that helps you. I’m getting desperate to find comfort and decent sleep.

Maybe Lyrica might help you, I would suggest it to the doctor.
Is Lyrica a RX drug?

Yeah, I hear it works wonders! 100mg 3X a day. Suggest it to your doctor
So the more reading and research I do, I think you are on to something about Potassium! It seems to fit my mold of what is going on. I’m definitely going to mention it next time I’m at the doctor. Thank you for the info!

Yeah, no problem
In the mean time: eat potatoes and drink orange Juice, Gatorade, Pedialyte. I love potato chips: sour cream and onion that has a lot of pottasium! lol so I eat potato chips more than I should XD
Really! Potato chips? That is one of my weakness! Yaaas!

Mine too! I think that is why my pottasium is soo good lol. At least there is beneficial stuff in our weakness!!! Hahaaa!!! XD
Potassium is important but so is magnesium. If its truly muscle & not nerve pain. I believe lyrica is for nerve pain not sure about muscles. But I would try vit d3 etc before another rx. Hope you can get relief. A pharmacy may be able to guide you on supplements for dosages.
