ABL (Accidental Bowel Leakage)

the Butterfly......a product to protect "women" from accidental bowel leakage. Have no idea why it would be limited to women! Has anybody tried it? More info at www.butterfly.com

I haven't. I think it is marketed to women because they are most likely to suffer with this. This is due to the sphincter damage from pregnancy and childbirth. There is even some sphincter damage if you have a c-section! All that pressure I guess...

I use the butterfly every night, and it has saved me from having to change the bed linens many times. It feels a little weird at first, but I quickly got used to it. I also sleep with a towel under my midsection to further protect my sheets. It's a lot easier to put a new towel down after an incident than it is to change the sheets in the middle of the night!
