hello everyone again

I had stage 2 of 3 last week on Monday 12th May so its only 9 days or so post op.

I had laparoscopic surgery and am heeling well.

I am pretty mobile already, the only thing I can complain about is minor pains in the abdomen.

Is this normal so soon after surgery, or could it be related to adhesions?

2 days ago, I ate some food a bit too fast, and had quite a lot of pain and no output for a while. when the bag did start filling again and I emptied it I noticed 3 or 4 large pieces of waiste in there so since then I have been chewing very well and eating smaller amounts.

however I still get these minor pains and I think its to do with stool passing through the bowel because when I feel a bit of internal movement and sound in the bowel the pain goes.

so back to the original point, is this normal at this stage or could it be the sign of adhesions?

Short and sweet.
I believe it is normal.
You are lucky if it is not severe. I had severe pain six month up to and when after receiving my pouch
I don't have any now but had it for a long time afterwards.
Yes I had three obstructions when I had the bag and you must chew..chew...chew...and drink drink...drink. I believe most problems that occur when you first have a bag is inexperience and not listening to the surgeon and stoma nurse. That was me.
I hope this is some help.
