My hematologist drew his monthly work up on me yesterday 11 th December and quest labs came back ..

my egfr is only 83 and my creatinine is 1.11

one month ago on nov 13 the egfr was 92 and the creatinine was 1.06

the loss of 9 point egfr in 1 month has me concerned I developed chronic kidney disease stage 1

anyone have success on farziga to slow the progression of ckd

my drs have me on enalaoril twice daily at a dose of 5 mg. I read farziga can dehydrate abs cause ketodosis and itching and infection in the privates/urinary

im concerned because 2 months ago the egfr was 100 or above

I can’t go actively take walks I’m 8 months post trans anal mucosectomy and when I go walking I bleed rectally onto my pad in briefs and I sweat a lot

it’s tiring and time consuming to shower after work outs and my shower and bathroom are old. I have a leaky shower faucet and management isn’t addressing it to make it stop dripping they just say it’s not dripping bad

its now dripping in two spots from under the faucet, probably my washers in the knobs of shower need replacing again but anyways …

I don’t want kidney disease I’m afraid it will be even lower my egfr and my cardiologist said to tweak the blood pressure meds he wanted me to record my bp reading for  a month to 6 weeks 3x a day

I don’t have time

if you take farziga and have success with managing chronic kidney disease let me know

im 54 ans thin. I was diagnosed with stage 2 CKD about 2 years ago. My egfr has flucuated from 83 to 70 and creatinine has gone up and down around the cutoff of 1.23. My nephrologist stated for me to drink at least 2-3 liters of fluid a day. i am also on 12.5 mg of Atenolol for blood pressure.

i had my first pouch in 2008 and my redo with mucousectomy in 2015. Since then i have always had some leakage and occasional bleeding. I do notice when i do alot of exercise like several miles on the treadmill my pad is stained with blood. I was told that with a redo the pouch sits very low to anus and its normal to get alot of irritation. it sucks dealing with it.
