Hi,

Has anyone had success with Skyrizi for pouchitis or inflammation? i’m getting ready to start.

Stelara and entyvio raised my liver enzymes. I’ve been lucky over the years never had any issues with my pouch. But apparently now it’s catching up to me.
I’m just afraid to keep putting all these chemicals into my body. The only thing that really works the best, is budesonide.
Thanks!

I'm currently on Skyrizzi and have been since March of this year. I don't have any major side effects that I'm aware of. We'll know more how it is working when they scope after a year from when I started it. I also take Budesonide and Imuran beside the Skyrizzi.

The on body injector is different from just getting a shot, but you'll get the hang of it pretty quick. (It takes 5 minutes to inject the medicine.)

I wish there was a magic formula that fixed us all without chemicals and side affects, but it isn't here yet. I'm thankful there are medicines that do help keep my pouch behaving somewhat "normal" (whatever that is).

Thank you so much for this reply, it gives me less worries and some hope!
I just received my approval From the insurance for that on body injector. It’s very interesting, I watch the video on it.
