So it seems ilex is out of production. Looking for a good alternative. Can't seem to find anything that's similar. Suggestions more than welcome.

Been looking for a year now, bought several products that said they were similiar but they were not. Nothing dries like Ilex, everything stays moist and it sucks. I have enough ilex to get me thru a few more months but no idea what I am going to do when I am gone. VERY PISSED off at this company as last summer when they ran out kept stating they were not going out of business and it was all rumors and they were just having an ingredient shortage but would 100% be back. They always kept me in the loop with emails and now they wont reply back in the past 4 months. Phone numbers dont work either.. I am livid
I posted in a different thread that I'm searching for an alternative to iLex myself. When my testing is complete in about 2 weeks or so, I'll do a new post with full details and my opinions.
So far I've tested Calmoseptine, Coloplast Clear Moisture Barrier Ointment, and Lantiseptic Moisture Shield. I'm very unsatisfied with the effectiveness all three.
To be tested when I receive them soon:
Dynarex White Petrolatum.
CeraVe Healing Ointment.
Coloplast Thick Moisture Barrier Paste (I'm especially hopeful for this one after reading the reviews).
Medihoney Gel Wound and & Burn Dressing.
I am specifically looking for a product that dries like Ilex.. most of these other ones stay wet or moist which not like Ilex.
Cavilon from 3m works so-so if you apply it each time, but doesn't dry and doesn't heal like Ilex. Will also try Coloplast
Yeah iLex is perfect. I'll post when I find a 'best alternative' out of the products I will be testing soon.
@NathanG: note that there are several Coloplast skin barrier products. The "Thick Moisture Barrier Paste" product is the one I think might show some promise. I've tried another Coloplast product and it was garbage.
I just did a post with my results/opinions of some products I've recently tested:
