Are you talking about a strictureplasty or an endoscopic balloon dilation?

If you are talking about endoscopic balloon dilation, I had 3 of them done, and they are described in great detail in this thread:

I don't really consider that procedure a surgery. Strictureplasty is a surgery, but it's not a dilation. So I am confused by your post.

Also, is your stricture at the inlet, or outlet? Strictures at the inlet/afferent loop are very common in older pouches due to backsplash stool and the SIBO/inflammation and scar tissue than can be caused by it.
