Definitely call the surgeon.  Hopefully there's an explanation that isn't too scary.   Slowing things down too much can result in straining and mechanical issues that can cause bleeding.   That still happens to me periodically. Usually limited to a day and always a shock.   But in your case, so soon after surgery, you want to have the surgeon evaluate you to rule out more serious concerns.  Good luck. For me it would come and go with no real reason… it wasn’t from straining or any particular type of food.  It really freaked me out when it happened but it ended quickly….you definitely want your doctor to know when these things happen. You just went through a traumatic surgery and the body is still recovering. You will feel better after your consultation.   Your in the right place as this group has been there..
